Steph Curry Joins Elite Basketball Class
Basketball star Steph Curry has made history as only the 10th player to score 25,000 points with a single team in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Curry reached the significant milestone during the Golden State Warriors’ 115-110 victory against the Detroit Pistons.
He scored 32 points in the game and reached the 25,000-point mark with a three-pointer in the third quarter of the game.
Curry also became the 26th player in the history of the NBA to score 25,000 points as he joined the group of elites such as LeBron James.
The win was the Warriors’ fourth consecutive victory and improved their record to 36-28.

Curry’s achievement was celebrated by the Warriors as the franchise posted, “A scorer like few others in NBA history. 25,000 points, and Stephen is still hungry for more.”
The head coach of the Warriors hailed Curry’s performance and described it as “stunning. It’s night after night.”
An excited Curry described the achievement as a “surprise, actually. I knew I was coming up on it, but I didn’t think about it until I heard it in game.”
With this new height attained, Curry has now set his sights on reaching 4,000 career three-pointers, which has not been achieved by any player in NBA history.
During the game against Detroit, he got four three-pointers out of 15 attempts and now needs just seven more three-pointers to make history.
