Official: Donald Trump Is The 47th President Of The United States

Donald Trump has been officially sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday, January 20, 2025.

President Trump described his return to the White House for a second term as the “golden age of America” and vowed that America will “flourish and be respected” during his time in office.

The real estate mogul lamented that America has declined greatly in the last four years and said he will fix the country.

Recalling the assassination attempts on his life during the presidential election campaign, Trump said he “was saved by God to make America great again.”

“Many people thought it was impossible for me to stage such a historic political comeback,” he added.

“I stand before you now as proof that you should never believe that something is impossible to do in America. The impossible is what we do best.”

He also mentioned a series of executive orders that he intends to implement on his first day in office, such as declaring a national emergency at the US-Mexico border and detaching troops to the border.

“First, I will declare a national emergency at our southern border,” Trump said.

“All illegal entry will be immediately halted, and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came.”

He is expected to sign at least 200 executive orders in his first day as President of the United States.
