Nigeria’s Dauda Samson Is The Best Bodybuilder On Earth
British-based Nigerian bodybuilder Samson Dauda has made history by becoming the first Nigerian to win the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding title.
Dauda took home the $600,000 prize that accompanies the title during the final of the event at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, United States.
Mr. Olympia is the biggest title in bodybuilding sports history, and the Nigerian beat the other 14 contenders to emerge as the winner.
A total of 15 bodybuilders from different parts of the globe made it into the final after fierce competition in the preliminary round.
Last year’s champion Derek Lunsford was out to defend his title but finished third behind Hadi Choopan, who came in second as Dauda Samson was crowned the 2024 champion.
