Singer Kizz Daniel has joined the billionaire streaming club on the global digital streaming platform Spotify.

The Nigerian superstar singer has surpassed one billion streams on Spotify after making hit singles like “Necessari,” which has garnered over 111 million streams; “Cough,” which has been streamed over 94 million times; and “Buga,” which stands at over 91 million streams.

Other popular hits like “Lie” and “Gwagwalada” also performed greatly on Spotify as Kizz Daniel joined the likes of Rema, who has hit over a billion streams on the platform.

Compared to other artists who have achieved similar feats, Kizz joined the billionaires stream club with minimal collaborations, as only two of his top 20 songs on Spotify featured another artist.

Recall that recently, top music promoter Paulo Okoye said Kizz Daniel is the only Nigerian artist that can compete with Burna Boy on the global stage at the moment.

“Kizz Daniel is the only person that I know that can challenge Burna Boy if he puts himself together. I worked with him two years ago. And I know how much he makes. Kizz Daniel made at least $7.5 million from my side. I don’t even know how much he makes from others,” Paulo said.

Kizz Daniel is a Nigerian artist with a strong global reputation and has performed on almost every continent in the world.
