Funke Akindele’s “Everybody Loves Jenifa” Becomes Nollywood’s Highest Grossing Movie Of All Time
Funke Akindele’s “Everybody Loves Jenifa” has made history by becoming the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time.
The movie surpassed the ₦1 billion record to beat Toyin Abraham’s “Alakada: Bad and Boujee.”
The achievement was made public via the Instagram page of the movie’s distributor, FilmOne.

“Everybody Loves Jenifa has officially hit a historic 1.466 billion Naira and counting at the box office, making it the highest-grossing film of all time! Recall that Funke Akindele has been making the highest-grossing Nollywood movies in the past few years.
Her 2023 film “A Tribe Called Judah” made history as the first Nollywood movie to surpass the ₦1 billion mark.
An interesting thing about “Everybody Loves Jenifa” is the cast lineup, which includes Funke Akindele (Jenifa), Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana (Sege), Patience Ozokwor, Jackie Appiah, Nancy Isime, Stan Nze, Chimezie Imo, Bisola Aiyeola, Isaac Olayiwola (Layi Wasabi), and more.
