Ayra Starr Set To Be Lead Cast In Hollywood’s Adaptation Of “Children Of Blood And Bone”
Singer Ayra Starr is set to be the lead cast in the upcoming Hollywood adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel “Children of Blood and Bone.”
The “Rush” crooner will join an all-star Hollywood cast of legendary actors Idris Elba, Viola Davis, Cynthia Erivo, and more.
Lucasfilm, reputable for producing the very successful Star Wars, will produce Children of Blood and Bone, and the Mavin Records singer is set to join the list of singers who have also taken up acting roles, such as Beyoncé, Tiwa Savage, Jennifer Lopez, and more.
The film is set in an African fantasy kingdom and follows the story of a young woman who is on a quest to reclaim the stolen magic of her people.

Production for the film is currently ongoing and will be released in 2027.
Featuring in the film adds to the list of Ayra Starr’s recent achievements, such as bagging an RIAA Diamond certification and winning her first MOBO award.
