19-Year-Old Nigerian Tech Prodigy Graduates with First-Class in Computer Science

Sarah Solarin, a 19-year-old Nigerian from Lagos, has made headlines by graduating with First-Class Honors in Computer Science from a top Nigerian university, showcasing the immense potential of the nation’s youth in technology and innovation.

Driven by a passion for computing from a young age, Sarah excelled in mathematics and programming, quickly becoming a standout student.

Despite being younger than her peers, she thrived in hackathons, coding competitions, and research projects focused on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Reflecting on her journey, Sarah shared, “There were moments of doubt, but I stayed focused, determined to prove that age isn’t a barrier to success.”

Her professors praised her for her critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

With offers from global tech firms and postgraduate scholarships, Sarah plans to further her studies in Artificial Intelligence and contribute to technological advancements in Nigeria.
