The Weeknd Is The Artist With The Most Songs To Surpass 1 Billion Streams On Spotify
Canadian singer The Weeknd has made history by becoming the artist with the most songs to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.
The Weeknd achieved the feat after 24 of his songs surpassed the 1 billion mark on the global streaming platform.

He has now overtaken fellow Canadian singers Justin Bieber and Drake, who both have 15 songs with over one billion streams on Spotify.
Apart from his latest achievement, The Weeknd is also the first artist to record over 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
He is also the artist with the most streamed song on Spotify, with his hit single “Blinding Light” garnering 4.6 billion streams on the platform.
The Weeknd is expected to extend his streaming record as data from Spotify revealed that two of his songs, ‘Pray For Me’ and ‘In Your Head,’have both registered over 990 million streams while recording over 200,000 streams daily.
