Ayra Starr Records 2 Billion Streams On Spotify

Singer Ayra Starr has achieved a significant streaming milestone in her music career after hitting over 2 billion streams on global music streaming platform Spotify.

According to Spotify, Ayra Starr achieved the feat with data available from October 10, 2024.

Ayra Starr’s latest achievement comes just months after the release of her second album, “The Year I Turned 21,” which has garnered over 500 million streams.

According to data released by Spotify, Ayra Starr boasts of two songs that have garnered over 400 million streams.

These songs include Rvssian’s “Santa,” which garnered over 455 million streams; she made a guest appearance.

Her hit single “Rush” has also accumulated over 409 million streams on Spotify.

Ayra Starr was also featured alongside Omah Lay in Libanca’s “People,” which has gained over 106 million streams on Spotify, while her global hit “Bloody Samaritan” has reached over 82 million streams.

With this feat, Ayra Starr has joined other Nigerian acts such as Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, Rema, Tems, and CKay on the Spotify billionaires streaming club.

Ayra Starr has recorded huge successes in 2024, as she has earned four nominations at the MTV EMAs.

The 22-year-old was nominated in the Best New Artist, Best African Act, Best Afrobeats Act, and Best Push categories.
