Awele Elumelu, Chairperson of Avon Healthcare Limited, has completed her fifth marathon, running 42.195 kilometers in Berlin, Germany’s capital.

On Sunday, her husband, Tony Elumelu, chairman of the United Bank of Africa, congratulated her on her achievement via social media.

“Well done #MrsTOE on completing the 42.195km Berlin Marathon – 5th marathon in the bag,” he wrote, sharing pictures of her participation.

Mrs Elumelu’s last competitive race was in April when she participated in the London Marathon. She got her personal best record in the 42km race which had over 50,000 participants.

“Congratulations #MrsTOE on your fourth city marathon, and a new personal best record! You inspire!” her husband wrote back then, without revealing her race time.
