Celebrating Five Years Of Burna Boy’s “African Giant”

In 2019, Burna Boy made it to global entertainment after the release of his “African Giant” album. The album got a nomination at the 62nd Grammy for the Best World Music Album category and saw him sell-out concert venues.

Since the release of “African Giant,” Burna Boy has waxed stronger on the global entertainment stage and went on to win the “Best Global Music Album” category at the 63rd edition of the Grammys with his “Twice As Tall” album.

Burna, who also calls himself the “African Giant,” will be celebrating five years since the release of the album by performing live on YouTube for fans across the globe tonight.

“Celebrating the 5-year anniversary of ‘African Giant’ with a special performance in London, supported by YouTube Music, has been an incredible experience. This album holds a special place in my heart as it represents a pivotal moment in my career and a powerful statement of African pride,” the multi-award winning singer said.

Apart from the Grammys, Burna Boy has also won other reputable international awards, such as the BET. He has also collaborated with other top international acts such as Wizkid, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, and more.
