Afrobeats singer Davido wed his longtime girlfriend Chioma on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in a lavish ceremony that saw people from different walks of life grace the occasion.

Davido’s wedding lived up to the billing and was the talk of town on and off social media as his colleagues in the entertainment turned up for the event.

The wedding was a galore of dignitaries as former Nigeria’s president Olusegun Obasanjo was in attendance.

Traditional leader, the Ooni of Ife was also present at the event. At least four sitting state governors were present at the ceremony which held in Lagos State.

Davido’s  uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State was in attendance alongside the governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, and Governor Alex Otti of Abia State.

In the entertainment industry, celebrities like Olamide turned up and performed at the event. Other stars in the music industry that were present include Peter Okoye of PSquare, Fireboy, Young John, May D, and more.

Reigning CAF African Player of the Year Victor Osimhen was also present at the event alongside social media influencers such as Davido’s longtime friend Cubana Chief Priest, Verydarkman, Nasboi and more.

Socialite and nightlife businessman Obi Cubana also showed up to support Davido and Chioma in what could be described as one of the biggest inter-tribal marriages in Nigeria’s history.
