The Bank On It crooner has set a new record for the highest grossing tour for an African artist.

Burna Boy’s last album ‘I Told Them’ has recorded an impressive $15.5 million from a total of 15 shows.

Also, earnings from six concerts that are still pending will definitely raise the amount.

The singer’s latest achievement was made public by an American tour statistics firm, Touring Data, on X.

The Grammy Awards winning singer has also set a new record of becoming the African artist with the highest-grossing concert arena.

Burna Boy earned $1.725 million on March 7, 2024, during his show at the Capital One Arena in Washington. The new record beat what he previously set at TD Garden in Boston.

He is one of the biggest stars in global entertainment with collaborations with other top international acts like Wizkid, Edsheeran, Stormzy, and more.

Apart from the Grammys, Burna Boy has won other multiple awards such as the Headies and BET. He is regarded as one of the greatest Nigerian singers in history.
